A bar member Javed Iqbal Jaffari has approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) with pray to direct the respondent government to write a letter to American government for Dr Aafia again after the recovery of her daughter Mariyym, who confirmed that her mother was arrested from Pakistan. The petitioner contended that a new witness has proved his case that Dr Aafia was arrested from Pakistan.
He therefore prayed to the court to direct the respondent government to take up the matter again with American government for the return of Dr Aafia.
