APCA threatens to besiege National Assembly

All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) has threatened to besiege the National Assembly and stage a demonstration on April 22, if the government did not increase their salaries by 100 percent with effect from January I, 2010 like the employees of Judiciary, Police and armed forces.
Khalid Jehangir Sanghera, Divisional President of APCA said," we would be forced to launch a long march, besiege the parliament if our demands were not met before April 22." Employees of grade one to 15 of government, semi government departments, autonomous and semi autonomous bodies on Monday observed pen-down strike, besides staging demonstration to press the authorities for acceptance of their demands. A rally was taken out from the Irrigation department, which terminated at Chowk Nawan Shehr after staging a demo in front of Multan Press Club. The rally was led by Khalid Mehmood Sanghera, Muhammad Arif Malik and others.
