Pakistani actress Mahira Khan finally breaks her silence on the biggest controversy of the year involving her and Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s late night smoke break in the New York City and the actress surely has shut down the haters with a befitting reply.
Ever since the pictures of Mahira-Ranbir late night rendezvous went viral, social media has showered Mahira Khan with hate comments and judgments. Although Ranbir issued a statement clearing the situation moreover coming for Mahira’s defense, it was Mahira’s reply everyone was waiting for.
But Mahira chose to speak about the issue at the trailer launch event of her upcoming and highly anticipated movie ‘Verna’ when some local media asked about the incident, the actress said: “What can I comment about it! It was a personal thing, I have learnt from it because otherwise I am an extremely careful person.” On thoughts on people reacting on it and criticizing her personal life, Mahira said: “People say she doesn’t do these things in movies but I don’t want to do it for the world.”

The ‘Raees’ actress also spoke on the effect of the incident on her by saying she’s going to be more cautious and that all this has taught her a lot. The actress further added: “First of all, it’s very normal for a guy and girl to hang out and secondly we’ve all learnt from it.”
