Tottenham's Harry Kane is all set to wear Real Madrid shirt thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo, as Spurs managed to draw away to the holders in Champions League group H game.
The 24-year-old England captain admits he has been flattered by Zinedine Zidane’s comments — and turned into a Real Madrid fan on the pitch.
He was desperate to swap shirts with Real Madrid legend at full-time of the game on Tuesday, and plans to keep it as a memento of one of the biggest nights of his career so far.
“I asked for his shirt at the end. He was a big role model of mine growing up. It’s a nice shirt to get. I will frame it,” the Mirror quoted Kane.
“It was a great night for us. One we can be proud of — the fans can be proud of. The whole club can be proud,” he added. “I gave him my shirt. I don’t know what he’ll do with it!”
The Spanish giants have already showed interest in signing the five star player from English club as boss Zidane described Kane the “complete player.”
