Russian aircraft makes emergency landing

A Russian DC-3 aircraft on its flight from Kabul to Muscat had to make an emergency landing at Karachi Airport after the aircraft developed some electrical fault. According to CAA sources, there was only a 3-member crew, which was allowed landing here on pilot's request. CAA said the craft made safe landing at about 1924 hours and the problem was now being looked into.
