Over a dozen hurt in two student groups' clash

More than dozen students were injured during a violent clash between two student groups in Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) here on Monday. Both groups resorted to aerial firing on each other, but timely action of law enforcers prevented the warriors of any loss.
The students with minor injuries were shifted to city's hospitals, and not a single person was arrested by police. Explaining the cause of clash, Zafar Mohiuddin, Public Relations Officer (PRO) FUUAST said both student organisations were in tense from last Thursday, May 13. The tension started from "flower day" over minor issue, which caused closure of evening classes on May 13, he added.
