Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has decided that the government will not write any letter to Swiss government to reopening corruption cases against President Asif Ali Zardari, a private TV channel reported late Friday night. According to the channel, this decision was taken at a meeting of Pakistan People's Party ministers, which was presided over by President Zardari.
Quoting sources, the channel said that the government would only write a letter to Swiss courts if parliament repealed the immunity President Zardari enjoyed under the constitution. The meeting also decided to defend the 18th Amendment in the apex court.
