Bollywood actress Asin Thottumkal and her husband Rahul Sharma became proud parents of a baby girl on Tuesday.
‘Ghajini’ actress and co-founder of the tech company Mircromax announced the news of the arrival of their first born baby in a statement. "We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl earlier today. The last nine months have been most special and exciting for both of us and we would like to thank all our well-wishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support," the statement reads.

Asin also took to social media to announce the news and added picture on her Instagram with the caption, “Ecstatic to announce the arrival of our Angelic Baby Girl earlier today. Thank you for all your love and wishes. She is the best birthday present I could ever ask for!”

Couple’s close friend and Asin’s ‘Khiladi 786’ co-star Akshay Kumar also shared a picture of the ‘little angel’ on his social media, in which he can be seen holding the baby and congratulated the happy parents.

Asin and Rahul got married on January 19 last year in a Christian wedding ceremony followed by Hindu rituals held near Dehli. Bollywood actor Akshay served as the groom’s best man at the low-profile wedding.
