Partnering with auto dealership listing sites, Facebook is now allowing users to buy and sell cars on its platform.
Facebook launched a Marketplace platform where the users would be able to take advantage of this facility. The platform features a dedicated vehicles category allowing user to look for cars using year, model, mileage and price.
The category for buying and selling of vehicles contain complete dealerships inventories and contact support of direct dealer. Marketplace would contain lists of inventory from Cars.com, Auction123, Edmunds, CDK Global and SocialDealer along with adding specific search fields like transmission and vehicle type. Customers that directly want to talk with dealerships will be allowed text chat through Messenger, reported The Verge.

As for now, the feature is only accessible in the United States. Facebook, however, says that it is working on few other features for European Countries such as jobs, event, home rentals and tickets, stated Tech Juice.
