The 64 newly recruited assistant directors were attached with various wings and directorates of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Thursday, where they will remain under training for one month. The director concerned shall be responsible to fully acquaint them with the routine processes of LDA during this period.
According to a LDA's spokesman, an orientation seminar was also held at the LDA Community Centre at Muslim Town, for briefing the new inductees. Additional Director Generals of LDA Muhammad Ihsan Ul Haq and Mansoor Qadir, Chief Engineer, Chaudhry Abdur Rab, Director Finance Zaheer Asghar Rana, Director Administration Shahdi Fareed, Director Town Planning Nadeem Akhter Zaidi and Director Education Khalid Mahmood Chaudhry briefed the new officers about the duties, responsibilities, procedures and functioning of various directorates of LDA during the seminar.
These assistant directors have been attached with various directorates of general cadre, 11 each in the Town Planning wing as well as the Law Directorate, respectively, two each in the Accounts Directorate, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Directorates correspondingly and 12 in the Civil Engineering Directorate.
