Signing of MoUs by Pakistan and China hailed

President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Mohammad Ishaq Butt hailed recently signed two contracts and four MOUs between Pakistan and China and said the move would strengthen relations between both the countries. Talking to reporters on Friday he expressed his satisfaction at the expected investment of $10 billion by China in Pakistan in energy sector, development of railways and construction of dams.
Pointing out the prevalent acute energy crisis in the country, he highlighted the need for construction of new dams. The supply of 25 engines and 200 bogies from China would enhance the performance of railways and would facilitate the commuters, he said. The SCCI president further said that the government should also take steps for the betterment of other sectors like trade, industry, agriculture, education and health.
