A prisoner fled from Adiala Jail on Sunday after giving dodge to Police. Zeeshan Abbasi was reportedly arrested some four months back on charge of selling narcotics, who escaped from the jail in a broad daylight.
It was learnt that the accused fled by giving dodge to the two guards deputed on his security. An FIR has been lodged against the guards in the Sadar Police Station and investigation has been initiated against them. The police also raided the possible hideouts of the culprit but no clue was found till filing of this report. According to jail authorities only five days were left for his release. They said the possibility of involvement of the guards could not be ruled out in his escape.
