JPMC: nurse, doctor jump from third floor

A nurse and a doctor jumped from the third floor of a building of Doctors' Colony of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) on Tuesday. Sources said a nursing student of third year jumped from the flat of a doctor. She was rushed to the ICU. A few minutes later one Dr Abdul Jabbar of provincial health department also jumped from the same flat and got his legs broken. He was also rushed to the orthopaedic ward of the hospital.
Sindh health minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed has taken serious notice of the incident and constituted a probe committee headed by special secretary public health Dr Abdul Majid that would present its report in 24 hours.
