The Pakistan Industrial Association Traders Front (Piaf) has urged the Punjab Chief Minister to solve the media-related resolution issue, as it is creating uncertainty, which is not a good omen for economy.
The Piaf office-bearers Chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh, Vice Chairmen Iqbal Baig Chughtai and Kh Shahzeb Akram in a statement on Tuesday said that resolution against media was not a wiser step as the media was the fourth pillar of the country. They said that Chief Minister Punjab should come forward and handle the affairs wisely.
The business community was very disturbed with the issue. They further said that deteriorated law and order situation, energy shortage and high input cost have already crippled the business activities while the current issue is putting more fuel on fire. They stressed the need for forging unity to foil the designs of anti-Pakistan elements.
