District Administrator Tando Muhammad Khan, Ali Ahmad Lund has directed the officers of district revenue department and district transport authority to take strict action against the transporters charging fares higher than those of district government.
He also directed concerned officers to conduct frequent traffic checks, acquire first hand information and feedback from stakeholders and ensure that list of fare-rate, issued from district transport authority to transporters, is affixed/hanged at visible place and that transport managers are implementing it. Lund directed the officers to provide immediate relief to passengers, failing which they will be held responsible and taken to task.
