Nawab Raisani slams BNP leader's killing

The Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani has condemned the murder of a senior political figure, a former Senator and Secretary General of BNP (Mengal), Habib Jalib Baloch. The Chief Minister also expressed his sorrow and grief over the loss of a well-educated, seasoned and mature politician.
In his condolence message here on Wednesday, Nawab Raisani has said that the killing of Habib Jalib was an attempt to destabilise the peace and harmony in the province. He expressed his heartfelt sorrow and grief and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and said that may Allah almighty give courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
The Chief Minister has ordered judicial inquiry of the incident by a judge of the Balochistan High Court. Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani has also directed the law enforcement agencies to chase and arrest the culprits, mobilising all the available means.
Meanwhile, in a hurriedly called high level meeting to review the law and order situation the chief minister directed the authorities concerned to boost up the security measures in the provincial metropolis and other sensitive parts of the province in order to foil the designs of the miscreants and anti-social elements that might try to exploit the situation in the backdrop of the murder of Habib Jalib Baloch. Nawab Raisani directed that the writ of law must prevail and those involved in such heinous crimes must be dealt with iron hands.
