The Department Promotion Committee of Islamabad Police gave final nod to promotion of 91 officers to the rank of Inspector. The Committee met under Kamaluddin Tipu, DIG HQRs while other members of the committee were Ashraf Zubair Sididqui, AIG (Secretary) Zubair Ahmed Hashmi, SSP/Logistics, Moeen Masood, SSP/Traffic and Javed Iqbal Khatak SP/Legal.
The Committee reviewed the credentials of the officials and approved and confirmed 91 officers of Islamabad Police for promotion to the rank of Inspector. To fulfil the long-standing demand of the Islamabad Police, personal efforts were made by Chairman and the members of the Committee.
The Chairman of the Committee has stated that efforts are underway for confirmation of the Sub-Inspectors and Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Islamabad Police in their respective ranks and Insha Allah these officers will hear the good news in a few days. The officers of Islamabad police have appreciated the steps taken by the IGP, Islamabad and the Chairman of the committee for their welfare and hoped that these steps will boost the morale of the force.
