Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Tuesday urged his party workers to organise the party at the grassroots level and work for masses' welfare as a "bright future" is in the offing.
"Let me assure you that only it is the PML leadership which has talent, resolve and commitment to face the future challenges. PML will play a pivotal role in the future politics of the country," said Shujaat while addressing a gathering on the anniversary of PML federal capital chapter's reorganisation.
Shujaat said the nation was facing numerous challenges and the country was in a crisis-like situation. He said his party was the only political outfit, which had served the masses in critical times and they had introduced a service-based political culture in the country. He asked the PML workers to forge unity among their ranks and keep a close contact with the general public.
PML Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed lauded the performance of party's federal capital chapter. He said PML was the only political party which was representative of the views of general public on all issues. "We are not in politics for power grabbing rather we are here to serve the poor of this country. We will leave no stone unturned in helping the poor and people of middle class," he added. Secretary Finance Imtiaz Ranjha, Deputy Secretary Information Ghulam Mustafa Malik and members of PML federal capital attended the reception. President PML federal capital Rizwan Sadiq Khan and President PML Women's Wing Surayya Nasim presented reports on party's one-year performance.
