US MIDDAY: wheat, corn and soya rise

Wheat futures on the Chicago Board of Trade, the Kansas City Board of Trade and the Minneapolis Grain Exchange were higher early Wednesday on concerns about hot weather damaging crops in Europe and Russia, traders said. As of 9:37 am CDT (1437 GMT), CBOT September wheat was up 6-1/2 cents at $5.83-1/2 per bushel. KCBT September was up 8 cents at $5.97-1/2 and MGEX September spring wheat was up 7-1/4 at $6.09.
September corn moved higher 6 cents at $3.80 per bushel. August soyabeans up 3-1/4 cents at $10.15 per bushel; new-crop November up 4 at $9.77.
