Widespread rains in Sindh, Balochistan likely from today

Met Office has predicted widespread monsoon rains/thundershowers heavy at times from Monday to Thursday in parts of the country and heavy rains in Sindh and Balochistan. A spokesman of Met Office said here on Sunday that a low pressure area developed over North Bay of Bengal on Saturday evening.
Under the influence of this low pressure area, strong monsoon currents are expected to penetrate in Pakistan from Monday. This low pressure area is likely to approach southern parts of Pakistan on Tuesday.
Weather Forecast for Punjab:
Rain/thundershowers are expected at isolated places of Punjab on Monday, becoming widespread (heavy at times) on Tuesday/Wednesday.
Sindh:
Widespread rain/thundershowers (heavy at times) from Monday to Wednesday.
Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa:
Isolated rain/thunderstorm expected over Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa on Monday. Scattered rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls expected on Tuesday/Wednesday.
Balochistan:
Scattered rain/thundershowers on Monday evening/night. Widespread rain/thundershowers (heavy at times) from Tuesday to Thursday. Heavy downpours may cause flash flooding in the local rivers/streams of the province.
Kashmir:
Scattered rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls from Monday to Thursday.
Met office said that rain/thundershowers also expected in Islamabad during Monday to Thursday. The Spokesman further stated that due to a strong weather system, widespread rains accompanied by strong winds are expected along Sindh-Makran coast from Monday to Thursday, and the fishermen of Sindh and Balochistan are advised to remain cautious during the period. Heavy downpours may cause urban flooding in some major cities.
