Nation Branding in Globalised World moot today in Berlin

A 4-day International Conference "Nation Branding in a Globalised World" will open here on Thursday (today), said a press release received here on Wednesday. It has been organised by the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD) and is being attended by participants from across the world.
The conference spread over eight sessions consists of country presentations, panel discussions, lectures, various case studies from around the world and screening of documentaries. The participants shall focus on the economic, political and cultural dimensions of Nation Branding during their 4-days deliberations.
The conference will provide unique opportunities to reflect on how culture affects international relations and shapes the process of globalisation, says Mark Donfried, ICD Director. Khayyam Akbar, Head of Chancery and Charge d' Affaires in Pakistan Embassy Berlin shall be participating in the conference. The ICD has invited the President of Pak-German Council for Culture and Democracy Shahid Riaz Gondal to make a presentation on the "Nation Branding and the case of Pakistan."-PR
