Power shortfall shrinks

Power shortfall was reduced to 1477MW during last 24 hours with mild temperature in general. According to Pakistan Electric Power Company (Pepco) sources, power generation stood at 13432MW against demand of 14909MW. Meanwhile, power generation through hydel sources was recorded at 5688MW, followed by 2132MW through thermal, 5544MW through IPPs and 68MW through RPPs. Power supply to KESC was recorded at 460MW, added the Pepco sources.
