Women urged to participate in outdoor sports

Chairperson Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Women Wing, Robina Irfan has urged the sportswomen to participate in outdoor sports. She said that bankers and teams like PIA, KRL and PEL should form women teams to promote football among women in Pakistan. Physically healthy players actively participate in the development and uplift of the country.
Robina hailed efforts of PFF President's work for women soccer. "Countries like Pakistan are free to promote women soccer within the limits of their culture and religion. FIFA gave freedom to the countries to develop this sport among their womenfolk within the prescribed parameters of their culture and religion," she said. She said future of women football in Pakistan is bright and the registration of 42 clubs with PFF is also a good sign.
