Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in the index. ISE Ten Index was down by 03.60 points, as the Index moved from 2,652.45 to 2,648.85 points. The overall turnover amounted to 205,087 shares, as compared to previous turnover of 111,835 shares.
Total 152 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (72) closed in negative territory, 80 landed in plus column. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 94,000 shares. The volume of National Bank of Pakistan was 32,290 shares. The turnover of Bank of Punjab was 30,000 shares. Top gainer was Siemens Engineering with an increase of Rs 53.16 per share, whereas major loser was Sanofi Aventis Pakistan with a decrease of Rs 4.29 per share.
