Youth Parliament's Minister Prem Chand, who was among the victims of Airblue plane crash in Islamabad, was laid to rest in Sanghar on Friday amidst unbridled sobbing of the bereaved family and a large number of people. Prem Chand, 26 years old, a student of University of Sindh was doing his Masters in Social Work, was buried in the historical graveyard of 'Nango Shah' for minorities in his hometown of Jhol.
Six youth ministers, all hailing from Sindh, who were going to Islamabad to attend the final session of the 'Youth Parliament', a project of the Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT), lost their lives in the plane crash. Earlier, Prem Chand's body was brought to Karachi by a PIA flight from Islamabad, which was later sent to Jhol in an ambulance. The deceased left behind a widow and three sisters besides his mother to mourn his death.
