ISE index up by 4.81 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in the index. ISE Ten Index showed an increase of 04.81 points as the Index moved from 2,619.73 to 2,624.54 points. The overall turnover amounted to 110,171 shares, as compared to previous volume of 56,463 shares.
Total 151 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (85) closed in positive territory, 66 closed in negative territory. The turnover of Arif Habib Securities was 52,210 shares. The volume of D.G Khan Cement was 24,200 shares. The turnover of National Bank of Pakistan was 11,000 shares. Top gainer was Siemens Pakistan Engineering with an increase of Rs 40.00 per share, whereas major loser was Unilever Pakistan with a decrease of Rs 12.48 per share.
