The London School of Business & Finance (LSBF) announced the launch of two regional offices in Lahore and Karachi. Addressing a press conference organised at Lahore Press Club on Thursday, the LSBF Project Director, Komil Mamajanov, Regional Director, Mariya Afzal and other officials said the new offices would provide prospective students in Pakistan with a direct link to information about LSBF programmes as well as acting a liaison point of corporate clients and partners in the new regions.
With a network of more than 12,000 students, LSBF offers a portfolio of industry-relevant postgraduate degrees as well as professional programmes. It works closely with corporate partners to develop programmes that reflect modern international market place, responding to the needs of modern business, the project director added.
Mamajanov further said, "We are investing heavily in Pakistani education, giving out free textbooks and offering scholarships to talented students. It's our mission to promote quality education, exchange ideas and work closely with Pakistani educational institutions to further improve the links between the two countries." She said that they would hold a ceremony on Friday to celebrate the launch of LSBF in which Director UK Trade and Investment Pakistan and British Deputy High Commissioner Robert Gibson will be one of the speakers.
