Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has paid rich tributes to the slain FC Commandant Sifwat Ghayoor saying that the deceased was in the frontline against the war on terror. "He performed his duties with courage and valour and was a brave officer", said Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti while talking to media men on Thursday after attending the funeral prayers of the Shaheed.
The Chief Minister said that the martyrdom of the brave and honest officer would not dampen our souls and courage and has instead strengthened our commitment to eliminate our common enemy. He urged upon the nation to support the government's stance against insurgents and gave assurance to the people that forces of evil would be defeated in the war.
Hoti extended heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family members saying that we share these tough moments with them. He said that terrorists have changed their strategy and were now targeting important persons and vowed to frustrate the evil designs of the terrorists. To a question, he said that all resources would be utilised to provide foolproof security to the VIPs.
