Bid to smuggle heroin foiled

Pakistan Customs Drug Enforcement Cell - DEC, Jinnah International Airport Unit foiled an attempt to smuggle contraband heroin out of Pakistan through postal parcels. According to details, the Customs DEC staff intercepted a parcel at the airport office of a local courier company.
The parcel was booked from Karachi for an address in Canada. The parcel, which apparently contained mounted photo frames was found to contain about 1 Kg heroin that was artfully concealed under the photos.-PR
