Met Office warns of urban flooding

The Met Office on Saturday warned of a possible urban flooding in Karachi, Hyderabad and other cities of Sindh in next 2-3 days in the wake of widespread rains in the province. According to the Advisory-7 of the Met Office, the province is likely to receive widespread, at times, heavy rainfall in next 2-3 days. Further, heavy rain may increase the level of flood in Indus River in Sindh.
It says, the monsoon weather system that was present on Friday over central India is expected to move in westerly direction and may approach Sindh during the next 24 hours.
