Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) has formally requested Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for providing special grant of Rs 2.5 million to enable the volleyball team participate in international events. Pakistan's volleyball team is scheduled to participate in the third "Asian Central Zone Volleyball Championship" to be held in Kolkata (India) from September 16 to 20, Al-Rashid Cup in Dubai in October this year and 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou, China from November 12 to 27.
A spokesman of PVF expressed optimism that they would receive the grant.
