Total open interest position at the futures counter declined by 61 percent on week-on-week basis to Rs 622 million. The future spreads also decreased by 1.35 percent during the week ended on August 6, 2010. Trading at the futures counter, however, improved and the average daily volume increased by 63.3 percent to 1.9 million shares.
