Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Punjab leader Muhammad Iqbal has said that Punjab government has failed to deliver, saying he could come into power again. He was addressing a press conference here on Sunday along-with Rana Muhammad Hafeez, Provincial Chief of PML-Q (labour wing).
Iqbal said that during PML-Q rule, institutions had risen to dignity. "I always upheld respect for the institutions," he said. He lamented that in the last two-and-a-half years, Punjab government had failed to set up any Danish school. He said the current government recorded a steep rise in the rates of suicides and unemployment. The PML-Q leader called Shahbaz Sharif a 'blood pressure chief minister", adding that wherever Shahbaz went, he suspended District Co-ordination Officers (DCOs), which impeded ongoing development projects.
