Foreign Secretary, Salman Bashir and US Ambassador Ms Anne W. Patterson on Monday discussed the situation arising from the floods and the ongoing relief and rescue efforts. Foreign Secretary appreciated the assistance being extended by the US at this difficult time for Pakistan. He said the relief and rescue assistance by US has helped save many precious lives.
"Timely help by the US reflects strong relationship that existed between the two countries and our people," he said.
