Pakistan, Turkey to facilitate visits of businessmen: Baig

Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Federal Advisor on Textile, has returned from Turkey. He disclosed that as per announcement made by the Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Pak-Turkish CEO Forum meeting held in Islamabad in presence of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani both governments had agreed to facilitate visits of businessmen to each other countries.
Dr Baig met Turkish authorities and Consul General of Pakistan Dr Yousaf Junaid in Istanbul to discuss visa facilitation to the businessmen of both countries. All Pakistani businessmen having US, Canadian, Schengen or visa of European countries will be issued Turkish visa upon arrival on payment of visa fee of €25. Dr Baig called it a good step for the free movement of the genuine businessmen of both countries and hoped that the facility would enhance the bilateral trade and investment between Turkey and Pakistan.-PR
