Two killed in separate incidents of violence

A youth was killed another injured when unknown armed men on Tuesday fired a hand grenade on a tyre shop at Maripur Road. Source told Business Recorder, an 18-year old Umair son of Yaqoob was killed while an unknown customer injured when some unidentified men fired hand grenade on them. Both were taken to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK).
Police said that the criminals of Lyari Gang War were demanding monthly extortion money from shop owner, but on refusal they threw hand grenade on shop. In another incident, Mirza Abid Sherazi 54, son of Mirza Ahmed Sherazi was gunned down outside the Al-Hayat Chamber in the limits of Ferozabad police. The victim was brother of Mirza Asghar Sherazi, a renowned Shiite scholar, and the owner of welfare association Aza Khana Zohra Imambargah, Soldier Bazaar.
Station House Officer (SHO) Ferozabad Rao Samad said the victim was standing outside his company namely Concrete Technology when two armed men stopped near him and shot four gunfire on his head and fled away. He died instantly.
In yet another incident, the Aram Bagh police have recovered a two-day-old boy, who was kidnapped from Civil Hospital Karachi last day and arrested a human trafficker. The police said the recovery took place from Allah Wali Market. They said the father of the new born Sajid Mehmood has complained the police about disappearance of his child from the hospital ward. The police during checking recovered his baby and arrested a lady namely Salma, involved in the business.
