Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) has finalised strategy for the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Corporate and Associate elections scheduled for September 20 and September 21. The PIAF has asked its members to submit applications by August 16 if they want to contest LCCI polls.
The PIAF executive committee in its meeting held here on Wednesday also expressed deep sorrow over the devastation and causalities due to heavy rains and floods in the country and pledged to contribute maximum resources for the early rehabilitation of the flood-hit people.
Chairman PIAF Irfan Qaiser Sheikh, Vice Chairmen Iqbal Baig Chughtai, Shahzeb Akram, LCCI President Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry, former LCCI Presidents Mian Anjum Nisar, Mian Shafqat Ali, Muhammad Ali Mian and former Senior Vice Presidents Tahir Javed Malik addressed the meeting.
Chairman PIAF, Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that it was the duty of every citizen in general and the business community in particular to extend full support to all those who are in need in this difficult times. All the PIAF Executive Committee members promised to contribute to PIAF flood relief fund. It was also decided that the PIAF executive committee members would motivate the voters in their respective markets so that maximum number of people could be able to cast their votes in LCCI elections.
