Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited (PTC) has dispatched third consignment of relief goods to flood affectees of Nowshera in KP province. The relief package comprises of basic food items, on spot typhoid vaccinations and water purification tablets. These items will be used to help estimated 10,000 flood affected persons. Because of growing threat of epidemics and the spread of waterborne diseases.
PTC has included on spot typhoid vaccinations and water purification tablets to save hundreds of affectees from falling prey to various diseases. The relief goods were sent off by the company's Director of Corporate Affairs, Shaiful Bahari Mahpar, who said that natural calamities have to be faced through efforts by the government and the private sector both. "We at PTC have always tried to be the first in helping the affectees in times of natural calamities", he added.-PR
