"The cash market had little fresh news to react to and drifted mostly sideways without much buying interest as the worries about the global economy is keeping most buyers sidelined," one broker said.

South American soymeal was offered between flat and $2 per tonne up from Tuesday, following the trend in CBOT soymeal futures. Spot delivery Argentine high protein soymeal traded at $358 a tonne fob Rotterdam.

Most other products were quoted flat to a little firmer following the trend in soymeal and because of firmer rapeseed futures. Buyers showed little interest and no business was seen.
