ICAP sets up flood relief fund

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) has set up a flood relief fund. This was announced by the president of the ICAP, Abdul Rahim Suriya, here on Sunday.
He stated that the floods have killed 1,600 people so far and affected 15 million people in total. He said that in wake of the massive suffering and the large scale loss, an 'ICAP Flood Relief Fund' has been set up to support the flood victims. Suriya requested ICAP members, their employers and Audit firms to contribute generously to this fund and help fellow citizens in their moment of plight.
The contributions are to be made in the name of ICAP (Flood Relief Fund) -Account number 20311-714-107398 of Habib Metropolitan Civil Lines Branch Karachi, he added.
