Pakistan Air Force C-130 aircraft has evacuated more than 300 people so far from the surrounding areas of Jacobabad to Karachi including injured, sick, elderly people, women and children. A PAF relief camp has been set up in surrounding areas of PAF Base Sukkur and Jacobabad providing relief goods to more than 2000 people daily.
PAF commandos operating on boats are busy in rescuing the flood affectees in the surrounding areas of Jacobabad and have so far rescued 240 stranded people. Medical teams comprising 06 PAF doctors and paramedical staff have been sent to flood affected areas of Jacobabad to treat the sick and injured.
In one day, PAF C-130 aircraft have transported 215,657 lbs of relief goods including tents, medicines, mineral water, water filtration plants, blankets and carpets to Sukkur, Rajanpur, Quetta, DG Khan and Jacobabad. PAF helicopters are rescuing flood-hit people and have dropped 9000 kgs of ready to eat meals in the surrounding areas of Jacobabad.-PR
