Tesco restores North Waziristan power supply

A spokesman of Tribal Areas Electric Supply Company (Tesco) has said that company has restored power supply to 132 kv grid stations Mir Ali and Miran Shah at North Waziristan Agency. In a statement issued on Friday said that a technical fault occurred on 132kv transmission line Bannu, Miran Shah section which resulted in disruption of power supply to North Waziristan Agency.
The spokesman further said that TESCO staff was promptly deputed to the area of fault but due to curfew and closure of roads it could not start work. However, when curfew was relaxed and roads opened in the area the fault was removed and power supply was restored to 132 kv grid station Mir Ali and Miran Shah. The spokesman vowed that maximum efforts are being made to provide better power supply to the consumers in Fata.
