Thin trading was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Wednesday as most of the buyers were on the sidelines to observe aftermath impact of the historical floods, dealers said. On the cereal side, masoor Sindh registered higher at Rs 6250-9000, masoor Canada was lower by Rs 200 to Rs 7300 and barley Sindh and Mardan were quoted higher at Rs 2300, they said.
On the seeds side, castorseed Lasbela low type did not show any change in the overnight level at Rs 2200 while the best type was higher by Rs 300 to Rs 2600 and castorseeds Sindh quoted at Rs 2000, they said. Grams and rice sectors retained the overnight levels in process of slow trading, they said.
