Marginal business was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Thursday as most of the buyers kept on the sidelines due to higher rates, dealers said. On the cereal side grams Australia was quoted at Rs 5000-5200, grams 50x50 was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 5100-5300. Yellow peas Canada rose by Rs 50 to Rs 3950-4100. Bajra low type gained Rs 500 to Rs 2800 and best quality picked up Rs 200 to Rs 3300, they said.
On the seeds side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh old type was trading at Rs 1225-1250 and new type of same commodity was registered at Rs 1160-1200, they said. Cereals and rice sectors did not show any change in process of trading, they added.
