Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) will make all-out efforts to assist the distressed people of flood-hit areas and will continue collecting donations, said SSP Traffic Dr Moeen Masood here on Saturday. "It is second consignment of relief items being sent for flood victims and we would continue to send relief items to other areas in the future," the SSP said while dispatching the second consignment of relief goods to Nowshera.
The first consignment was sent to Charasdda. Relief items being sent to flood affected people include medicines, mineral water and food. SP Mirwais Niaz, Co-ordinator ITP Citizen Committee Ayesha Jameel, traffic volunteers and other officials of traffic police were also present on the occasion. ITP established many special camps to collect donations. ITP has also handed over donations to Abul Sattar Edhi during the rally organised to collect donations, he said.
