Power shortfall continued nil for second consecutive day during last 24 hours. However, load shedding continued in various areas of the city despite a zero shortfall announcement made by the Pakistan Electric Power Company (Pepco) with a considerable reduction in the duration of load shedding on Saturday. Power demand and supply equalled to 13982MW, with a generation of 6442MW through hydel, 2267MW through thermal, 5211MW through IPPs and 62MW through RPPs.
