Kashf Foundation has been dispatching a relief package for 10,000 flood affected families to flood stricken areas of Charsadda, Nowshera, Muzaffargarh and Dera Ghazi Khan. Managing Director Kashf Foundation Roshaneh Zafar dispatched the first consignment towards Charsadda and Nowshera.
While dispatching the relief goods Roshaneh disclosed that relief package comprised flour, rice, cooking oil, milk, dates, lentils, sugar, spices, soaps, hand fans and medical relief supplies. She said that these items would be distributed among families in flood stricken areas of Charsadda, Nowshera, Muzaffargarh and Dera Ghazi Khan.
On this occasion she said Pakistan is facing one of the worst natural disasters, which left almost 20 million homeless, riddled with diseases, pain, fatigue and misery.
She added that most of them are women, children and newly born babies. In these testing times it is our national duty to help those in need, she added. She said Kashf Foundation like other organisations including Media, NGOs and international donors agencies has pledged to provide relief goods to the flood victims as long as they required help and assistance.
