Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, flew over the flood affected areas of Punjab and Sindh and met the flood affected families. A PAF statement here on Friday said that he was briefed about the PAF flood relief activities being carried out in different parts of Sindh.
It said that while talking to the field commanders he appreciated their work and advised them to make all possible efforts to support the affected people in a befitting manner and look after their needs. He reiterated that PAF would continue the relief operation and support the affected people for as long as it takes. He visited the relief camp set up by PAF at Sukkur. Later, Air Chief visited the relief camp at Pir Patho that has also been set up by Pakistan Air Force and carried out aerial survey of the flood affected areas of Thatta and adjoining areas.
