Railways to operate special trains on Eid

Pakistan Railways (PR) will operate five Eid special trains to meet rush of passengers leaving for upcountry destinations to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with their loved ones. Officials of Pakistan Railways informed APP that a train from Karachi would depart on September 7 at 12pm and reach Peshawar Cantt next day at 9:45 am via Hyderabad, Rohri, Multan and Lahore.
"The second train would run at 1pm from Karachi Cantt on September 8 and reach Lahore at 11:30am via Hyderabad, Rohri, Multan and Khanewal, the third train would depart on September 9 from Lahore at 11am and reach Rawalpindi at 4:15pm same day via Gujranwala and Gujrat", he informed.
He said that while the fourth special train would leave on September 9 for Lahore at 7pm from Rawalpindi and reach Lahore at 12:15pm via Gujrat and Gujranwala and the fifth special train would depart from Peshawar Cantt on September 8 at 5:30pm and reach Lahore the next day at 4am via Wazirabad and Gujranwala.
