OGDCL distributes dry rations among flood-hit families

The Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has distributed dry ration among 200 flood affected families in the Sindh Province. Abdul Qadir Soomro Executive District Officer Revenue Ghotaki and Abdul Majeed Field Manager of Qadirpur distributed 26kg ration among the flood victims.
OGDCL had first distributed token for ration to ensure transparency in distribution of ration among flood victims and then the ration was distributed at Primary Boys School of Qadirpur. OGDCL has also provided ration to the people of Ghotaki, Sibi, Muzaffargrah, Nowshera, and Hyderabad. Kamran Lashari Chairman OGDCL Board and Secretary Petroleum and Natural Resources and Malik Muhammad Naeem Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of OGDCL will be expected to participate in such programme likely to be arranged in Nowshera, Muzaffargrah, Uch, Dera Murad Jamali. Earlier OGDCL had donated Rs 200 million in the Prime Minister's Flood Relief Fund.
OGDCL will distribute ration among flood affected people of Rs 19.95 million. The company has funds for emergency relief and rehabilitation of Rs 100 million, which will be spent carefully through a Committee constituted under the supervision of Executive Director (SBP) Aftab Ahmad.-PR
